Through the portable sheepfold projects; the objectives are to improve shelter conditions and thereby enhance animal welfare, to prevent losses in livestock productivity, to produce healthy and high-quality animal products, to prevent the establishment of permanent shelters in pastures, to clear irregular structures within pastures, and to develop alternative methods that will facilitate the reclamation of pasturelands.
