As part of the project, the following equipment has been procured to enhance the educational infrastructure of the Selçuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Animal Hospital: 2 intensive care cabins, 2 infusion pumps, 10 oxygen regulators, 1 ultrasound device, and 1 imaging system.

A significant portion of animal slaughter in the region still takes place in small and primitive slaughterhouses, with meat and meat products often being produced under conditions that are not hygienically or technologically adequate. Small-scale operations lack cooling units, preventing carcass maturation, creating challenges in preserving internal organs, and resulting in the underutilization of by-products. Additionally, carcasses, hides, and internal organs are transported in unsuitable vehicles.

This project aims to maximize the utilization of geothermal energy resources and fully exploit the associated potential by contributing to the development of innovative and hybrid applications for geothermal energy.

Through portable sheepfold projects; the aims are to improve shelter conditions and thereby increase animal welfare, to prevent losses in livestock productivity, to produce healthy and high-quality animal products, to prevent the formation of permanent shelters in pastures, to vacate irregular structures within pastures, and to develop alternative methods that will facilitate the reclamation of pastures.

The most important source of income in Çekerek district is agriculture and livestock farming. There is no small or large-scale industry in the district. Due to its location, the district is situated in a rural area.

In the region, which historically had a viticulture culture, vineyards were abandoned due to diseases that emerged because the old-type rootstocks were ungrafted.
