In the Yerköy region of Yozgat, one of the most significant issues is the narrow range of agricultural products due to climatic conditions.

Through the portable sheepfold projects; the objectives are to improve shelter conditions and thereby enhance animal welfare, to prevent losses in livestock productivity, to produce healthy and high-quality animal products, to prevent the establishment of permanent shelters in pastures, to clear irregular structures within pastures, and to develop alternative methods that will facilitate the reclamation of pasturelands.

The project aims to process Topaç Village Garlic, produced from local seeds in Topaç Village of Acıgöl district, on-site; market it in semi-processed form through the cooperative; and generate local employment. Within the scope of the project, one Garlic Peeling and Packaging Facility has been established.

The most important source of income in Çekerek district is agriculture and livestock farming. There is no small or large-scale industry in the district. Due to its location, the district is situated in a rural area.

Within the scope of the project, as part of the training and extension activities aimed at generating income, with the objectives of instilling social awareness in women who are engaged in economic activity within the family and are categorized as unpaid family workers through the trainings provided, ensuring their participation in the cooperative, and providing them with a profession to sustain their own lives, trees are processed to make walking sticks, and stonework with local motifs is applied onto the walking sticks.

Through this project, it is aimed to record unexpected meteorological events, which have accelerated particularly in recent years due to climate change, and to establish a necessary database for analyzing the new climate structure. This initiative intends to minimize production losses caused by climate events such as frost, excessive rainfall, drought, etc., during the production processes of all producers.
