Through the portable sheepfold projects; the objectives are to improve shelter conditions and thereby enhance animal welfare, to prevent losses in livestock productivity, to produce healthy and high-quality animal products, to prevent the establishment of permanent shelters in pastures, to clear irregular structures within pastures, and to develop alternative methods that will facilitate the reclamation of pasturelands.

Hemp is one of the traditional cultivated plants of both our country and Yozgat, and its importance and usage have been increasingly spreading worldwide in recent years. Yozgat is one of the 19 provinces where its cultivation is permitted according to the hemp regulations. The fact that hemp is one of the traditional plants of our country and Yozgat, coupled with its growing importance and usage in recent years, necessitates revisiting this plant, increasing its production, and ensuring the supply of necessary raw materials for industries based on it.

As part of the project, the following equipment has been procured to enhance the educational infrastructure of the Selçuk University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Animal Hospital: 2 intensive care cabins, 2 infusion pumps, 10 oxygen regulators, 1 ultrasound device, and 1 imaging system.

In the region, which historically had a viticulture culture, vineyards were abandoned due to diseases that emerged because the old-type rootstocks were ungrafted.

Due to the majority of agricultural lands being arid and the low annual precipitation level, approximately 40% of cultivated agricultural areas are dedicated to the production of pulses such as chickpeas, lentils, and beans.
