Through this project, the aims are to conduct theoretical and practical training activities on hemp cultivation in Yozgat province and its districts, to enhance the knowledge and skill levels of hemp producers and technical personnel on technical matters, to create a model for local producers through demonstration trial areas, to introduce new equipment and production technologies to producers engaged in this activity, to procure modernized agricultural machinery for the common use of all hemp cultivators in Yozgat province and its districts, and to revitalize hemp cultivation in the region, thereby increasing quality and yield in production.

Yozgat Bozok University was selected in January 2020 as the university to specialize in the field of "Industrial Hemp" under the "Mission Differentiation and Specialization Project for Regional Development" conducted by the Council of Higher Education.

All machinery and equipment to be acquired within the scope of the project will be used for research conducted at the University.
