There are approximately 96,000 workplaces in 484 Small Industrial Sites across the country. Seventeen percent of these businesses serve the automotive sector, 15% serve the metalworking and sheet metal processing sector, 13% serve the metal goods sector, and 12% serve the plastic goods sector. Specifically in the KOP Region, there are 57 KSS and approximately 11,000 businesses. Identifying imported items and items that need to be produced domestically, such as devices and equipment, spare parts, and raw materials used in activities carried out in the region, and producing domestic substitutes for these items to reduce external dependency is of great importance both for the region and the country. The aim is to support our industrialists not only through awareness-raising activities but also through the design and manufacture of new machinery and equipment, the localization of existing machinery and equipment, the creation of a spare parts inventory, and efforts to strengthen the industrial infrastructure.
In this context, the aim is to establish a “Mobile Design and Production Center” in the form of a Tiny House, equipped with handheld precision laser scanners, molding devices, 3D printers, information system programs, and expert personnel, which conducts awareness activities, can generate its own energy, and can be directed to KSSs according to demand.
